Paul, I would say you have a great face for radio, but that implies that your voice is good. It's not.
Stick with print.
While I don't usually agree with your views, your writing is always intelligent and sometimes insightful. This vblog format just shows you to be another self absorbed meat puppet dying for attention!
Go with what works.

Doug, To each his own, but for me, the Compost Heap is one of the week's highlights. I don't always agree with Paul's views but I enjoy the fact that he doesn't duck controversy. For me, it works!

hey Doug,

I couldn't disagree more.For 20 yrs I read Paul Bass and didn't have a clue what he looked like, sounded like or what his personal story.Having had the pleaseure of meeting him a few time now and being able to put a face,and more importantly,a personality with his writing has helped me understand his writings and even his motives( which I'll asdmit I sometimes found suspect).

I suspect these videos will help others who haven't had the pleasure of meeting Paul Bass understand his perspectives on issues much much better.

PS- Just because this seems a little glowing don't tink for a minute that if I disagree with him on an issue I won't let him and everyone else in the world know it loudly and proudly

Weicker lied to CT, remember Paul? He promised no income tax, and immediately implemented one. Obama will do the same thing if elected- he says $250,000 will be the cutoff, but in reality he will increase taxes for those making a lot less. How else will he finance his socialist agenda, and the money he plans to throw at Africa for that matter?

By the way, I see that you are Jewish. I hope you are sensible enough to realize Obama has run with anti-semites his whole life. Perhaps you can write a nice article detailing same- I'll help you if you want. You still have my number? :)

Paul, You're the greatest! I'm still reading (and watching) you from Minnesota. Long live the vlogs!
Hope you or someone there will do an article that response to the utterly comment above on Obama and the Jewish community. Or at least you might throw some links in there to the many, many professional and Jewish clerical leaders who have cast their lots with Obama and shown that his supposed "antisemitism" is made-up hogwash and fear-mongering.

If I may ask, what exactly is racist about what Ofc. Lance said?

Hasn't Obama said he intends to help in Darfur? I believe that is what I think lance is referring. Maybe he doesn't want to see his tax dollars going in that direction when we are facing an economic crisis here.

I don't believe that anyone who has taken a few minutes to listen to some of rev. wrights sevices can argue that he is not a racist or a bigot.

Lance is also right, obama's math does not compute, with the entitlement and social welfare progams that he proposes, there is no way he cannot do it without unilaterally raising taxes.

Just one mans opinion here, now don't go labeling me with the racist sign.

Since I met you (and misunderstood you) long before I ever read anything you had written, seeing your vlogs is merely amplification of the comic aspects of your writing, which is not always obvious to a reader. (Remember your 13 Bar Mitzvah Blues at Down To Earth Restaurant?) Thanks for allowing us in on the jokes.

It is so sad that we will be saddled with this know-nothing Mayor and his appointees for another record-breaking term of profligate incompetence, but where is his credible opposition?

If you haven't gotten it by now, any objection raised towards Obama is racist, no matter what. This is the classic liberal shield to any weakness in a forum of ideas and will mark an Obama presidency which will spell the end to freedom of speech and this country. Can you say "Red China?".
