Paul I applaud you on the vast information that you bring to the city of New Haven and its residents. Although I have to correct you on a statement you made regarding the Amistad. The Amistad was not a slave ship, I was actually a cargo ship. The individual abducted from Sierre Leone were actually placed on a slave ship called the Tacora and later the Amistad in Cuba. A cargo ship which wasn't equipped to transport people just goods which further makes the Amistad story disheartening. Keep up the Good Work!

I agree the agents choice of attempted humor in his email message was poorly conceived, but I don't think that provides a platform for the amount of mud slinging in your opinion. It's fine to express your opinions that New Haven should aid and support illegal aliens, but there is silly amount of name calling in that video. What's the criteria for naming law enforcement agents "thugs", besides that they were enforcing laws that you don't support? Is the same person the cop of the week or a thug depending upon whether the NHI supports the laws in question?
