Sixth Homicide Probed

Police are investigating a fatal shooting that took place Saturday night. At 10:15 p.m., police discovered a man with a gunshot wound to the chest outside 21 Hulrburt St. in the Hill. The victim was transported to a hospital, where he later died, police said.
The victim was identified as Thomas Daniels, 18, of Spring St.
The incident was the city’s sixth homicide this year. Anyone with information on that incident is encouraged to call police at 946-6316.
