Crack In The SIdewalk

A Westville reader sent in this photo of cracks in the sidealk outside renovated Mitchell Library.
The “entire new curb at Mitchell Library is crumbling,” the reader wrote. “Which contractor is responsible for this quality work?”
City spokesman Adam Joseph checked and reported back that Cleary Construction Co. put in that sidewalk. THis is the first complaint the city has received about it, Joseph said.
“[City Enginer] Dick Miller’s going to go out and look at it,” Joseph promised.

Good luck guys.... shotty work is not excitable when I am sure they were paid well to do the job. But as I have learned it is who you know to get these sidewalks fixed....
EX: John P. and the mayor and crew have all seen these pictures of the YEARS and yet we can not get a thing done...ALOT OD PROMISES!!!... If me or someone from my group goes to one more mayors night out I is for nothing!!! I have seen far better sidewalks replace in nicer areas because they "are bad".

We asked out Alder to help us with this and emailed him pics and have given him hard copy's and just 2 weeks ago he FINALLY did a drive by with JOHN and he said" JOHN P. SAID THOSE SIDEWALKS CAN NOT BE FIXED BECAUSE OF the dumpster!!! hmmmm but the dumpster only goes up and down the driveway NOT THE LENGTH OF THE SIDE WALK!!! I HATE LAME ASS EXCUSES!!!!!!
