There is a special charm to receiving unfathomable instructions. This example was one of those downtown mysteries that came and went several times during the summer with varying inspirational texts. It made one think of some benign variant to the original version of the film The Day the Earth Stood Still, but here, instead of a destructive robot, some amiable aliens had pulled up in a starship the size of a Mini Copper to leave behind these cheeky warnings.
