The Finance Committee will hold a public hearing on Thursday, December 3, 2009, at 6:00 P.M, in the Aldermanic Chambers, 165 Church St., New Haven, to act upon the following items;
1. ORDER OF THE NEW HAVEN BOARD OF ALDERMEN APPROVING A DEFINED CONTRIBUTION PLAN FOR MEMBERS OF THE EXECUTIVE MANAGEMENT AND CONFIDENTIAL PAY PLAN
2. ORDER APPROVING AMENDMENT NO. 1 OF AN EXISTING LEGAL SERVICE AGREEMENT WITH THE LAW FIRM OF NEUBERT, PEPE & MONTEITH, P.C. TO INCREASE THE MAXIMUM COMPENSATION FROM $34,000 TO $184,000 THROUGH FY 2009-10.
3. A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE OF UP TO $50 MILLION DOLLARS IN TAX-EXEMPT EMPOWERMENT ZONE BONDS TO ASSIST IN THE CONSTRUCTION AND DEVELOPMENT OF THE COMMERCIAL PORTION OF THE 360 STATE STREET PROJECT.
4. AN ORDINANCE AMENDMENT TO APPROPRIATING ORDINANCE #3 OF THE FISCAL YEAR 2010 CAPITAL BUDGET CHANGING THE PROJECT DESCRIPTION ON PROJECT #1075, HOUSING ASSISTANCE.
5. ORDER TO READ AND FILE THE REQUIRED BUDGETARY AND FINANCIAL REPORTS FOR THE MONTH OF SEPTEMBER 2009 IN COMPLIANCE WITH SECTION #62 OF THE CHARTER
6. ORDINANCE AMENDMENT AUTHORIZING TRANSFER #09-999 TO ELIMINATE NEGATIVE GENERAL FUND LINE ITEM BALANCES FOR THE FISCAL YEAR ENDING 6-30-09 PURSUANT TO THE CHARTER AND THE CODE OF GENERAL ORDINANCES.
7. Ordinance Amendment to appropriating ordinance #4 of the FY 2010 City Capital Budget for the Re-designation of City Bond Proceeds from Valley Street School to the Sheridan School Construction Project
8. Ordinance Amendment to appropriating ordinance #4 of the FY 2010 City Capital Budget for the Re-designation of City Bond Proceeds from Barnard, Beecher and Celentano Schools to Hooker New School Construction Project
9. For Committee Action Only - Leave to Withdraw
