narcisse.pngThe state medical examiner has not yet determined the cause of Yale student Andre Narcisse’s death.

Narcisse (pictured), a Yale sophomore, was found unconscious in his dorm room on Sunday. Emergency services were unable to revive him.

A spokeswoman for the State Medical Examiner’s office said on Tuesday that the cause of death has not been determined. The matter is “pending further study” and a report will not be available “for several weeks,” she said. Asked why, she declined to offer a reason.

Yale students came together for a candlelit vigil on Monday night in memory of Narcisse.
