New Haveners who’ve been clamoring for cheap bus service now have two new routes.

As of Nov. 20, GoToBus.com will be offering cheap fares to Philly and Boston.

Here are the details:

New Haven to Boston ($20/$40) starts 11/20 and runs Fri, Sat, Sun (259 State Street- State Street Station & 344 College Street near Yale University Phelps Gate)

New Haven to Philadelphia ($20/$40) starts 11/20 and runs Fri, Sat, Sun (259 State Street- State Street Station & 344 College Street near Yale University Phelps Gate)

GoToBus.com is an online marketplace where bus companies can sell tickets. These new routes are provided through a new partnership with Transport Azumah, which runs city-to-city bus lines throughout the East Coast, according to a GoToBus news release.

Will the GoToBusses be new vehicles, or run-down death traps like Fung-Wa runs?
I can't count the times my family and I have been nearly run off the road by the wild lane changing, flat-tired, dented and dirty old Fung-Wa bus. Its like the death car on the freeway all over again...
