Seal Extended On Annie Le Warrants

At the request of the state prosecution, a judge Tuesday extended a seal on eight search warrant affidavits related to the murder of Yale grad student Annie Le.

The documents recount what led police to justify searching the body and possessions of 24-year-old Ray Clark in the days leading up to his arrest on Sept. 17 on a murder charge.

They now remain sealed until Dec. 1.

Clark was charged with killing Le and hiding her body in a basement wall at the Yale medical building where they both worked.

The arrest warrant in the case was released last week, revealing new details, including DNA evidence allegedly linking Clark to the suspect: Click here to read about that.

The search warrants were not released because they were sealed separately at request of the state prosecution. Since Clark’s arrest, Judge Roland Fasano has approved several two-week seals on the search warrants. One such seal was due to expire today.

David Strollo, supervisory assistant state’s attorney, requested another two-week extension before the documents could be made public. He didn’t state a reason for extending the seal. Judge Fasano extended the seal for another two weeks. He did not offer an explanation.

This just makes me sick.
How can a judge keep sealing this mans files.
...
This country was once a great place to live but killers and rapers now have rights after they kill and murder. God help us all.
