Mr. Reese, he is POPS to his Immauel Baptist Church Family. He loved the Lord, his church, family and the preaching of Pastor Ross-Lee. He faithfully walked to church every Sunday morning arriving early to hand out bulletins and greeted everyone with that twinkle in his eye or a comment that could turn a frown into a smile. Frequently reminiscing the past, the late Dr. Rev. Cofield, and without missing a beat, keeping hope alive for the future of our children. POPS was a charismatic French and Spanish teacher even after his retirement. He believed that education is the power tool for children today to claim any career of their choice. He was amazed by the beautiful new magnet art school downtown. A scholar, a gentleman and a kindhearted giant. Translated: Les bruits secs etaient erudit, un gentilhomme et un geant genereux. To Faye and family: POPS made me laugh out loud with the stories he told about growing up and loving life. Vividly reminds me of my father and holds a special place in my heart. Oh i'm truly sorry, I had no idea my heart goes out to the Family of Relius Frison what a magnificent gentle man, very humbled and kind, my family and I enjoyed him and his fluent French, he often tried to teach me some, he will be missed.
