“Unsilent Night” Rings Out

Last year it was a blizzard. This year it was rain. Neither stopped Unsilent Night , which went on as scheduled Thursday night much to the delight of the 50 revelers of all ages who showed up at the Shubert theater.

World AIDS Day Comes Home

Although HIV/AIDS garners more media coverage in Africa than in the U.S., the service providers and activists who gathered at United Church on the Green on Monday afternoon for the 20th annual commemoration of World AIDS Day said there’s plenty of tragedy to go around right here at home — and they want the funding to deal with it.
