Robbery Suspect Chased, Caught

Police caught up with a 28-year-old man suspected of a commercial robbery at 410 Ferry St. Wednesday morning. That morning, a man with a gun had robbed the clerk and fled in a blue caravan. Officers on the evening shift spotted a van of that description at 8:50 p.m. The operator fled the van. Officers chased him through the yards of Fair Haven’s Wolcott Street. They found him hiding under a Jeep. They found a gun back in his van, and arrested him.

100 Volunteers Wanted

Man Missing; Flip Flops Copped

Police are seeking public assistance finding this missing man:
“Terrence McDonald (pictured) is a black male who is approximately 5’8” tall and weighs 175 pounds. He has a medium brown complexion, a goatee, and a short Afro and he is missing his two front teeth. He was last seen in the vicinity of 384 Crown Street. Anyone with any information about Mr. McDonald’s whereabouts is asked to call the New Haven Police Department at 946-6316.”
