Rell Backs Dems On VA Voting Drives

(Updated 7:35 p.m.) The federal government should allow voter onsite voter registration drives for hospitalized veterans, Gov. M. Jodi Rell said Wednesday in endorsing a Congressional bill aimed at the Veterans Administration (VA).

Man Robbed

A man told police he was mugged by four men — two on dirt bikes, two on bicycles — at 4:09 p.m. Tuesday at Chapel and Dwight Streets. The victim was robbed at gunpoint of his bicycle, according to police.
