A “Troubadour” Blows Through

The most prominent songs on the radio today often speak the language of excess and extravagence, Yet more people have lives which resemble the world described in the songs Mary Gauthier writes and sings.
She sang some of those songs this past Thursday night at cafe nine on Crown Street. Click on the video for a sample and for some conversation about the “troubadour” life.
