The Finance Committee will hold public meetings on the Mayors proposed Fiscal Year 2013-2014
Budget, as listed below.
Workshops: The Committee reviews budgetary matters with officials of the agencies scheduled. Public attendance is encouraged, but public testimony is not allowed. All workshops are to start at 6:00 PM, in the Aldermanic Chamber, 165 Church Street, New Haven.
Thursday, March 21st - Budget Briefing by Management & Budget.
Thursday, April 4th- City Departments
Wednesday, April 10th - City Departments
Thursday, April 18th - City Departments
Tuesday, April 30th- City Departments
Public Hearings: The Committee solicits testimony from members of the general public regarding the proposed City Budget. Public Hearing locations are listed below.
Wednesday, March 13th, at HillHouse HS-Auditorium
Monday, April 29th, at Columbus School-Cafetorium
Thursday, May 2nd at City Hall, Aldermanic Chamber
Deliberations: The Finance Committee to discuss and vote on the proposed budget. Deliberations are to be held in the Aldermanic Chamber, 165 Church Street, New Haven.
