Bullets Fired On Lombard

Police found several bullet casings in the driveway of 148 Lombard St. after responding to a report of a gunshots there on Wednesday around 8:30 p.m.
No witnesses were found at the Fair Haven home, according to city spokeswoman Jessica Mayorga.
Across town in the Hill, a man reported being assaulted during an attempted robbery at 1:48 a.m. at Columbus Avenue and Arch Street. The victim said he was walking in the area when two men in their 20s came up to him, asked for money, and assaulted him when he refused.
Police released no crime map today.
