Four runners from the New Haven Age Group Track Club recently competed at the 2014 USA Track and Field National Youth Indoor Championships in Landover, Md. on March 8-9.  Azaan Dawson of New Haven finished third in the 3000 meter and sixth in the 1500 meter in the 11-12 division.  Caleb Bolden, also of New Haven, placed fifth in the 800 and 1500 meter races, in the 11-12 division.  Parker Paragas of Woodbridge placed second in the 9-10 division for the 1500 meter race and fourth place in the 800 meter race.  Joining him in the 9-10 division, Matthew Gibbs of New Haven came in ninth place in the 400 meter dash.

Placing first through eighth earns the boys the title of “All-American.”
