Charles Brantley doesn’t like cohabitation. It doesn’t work, he says. And the problem is women’s expectations with their men.
“The problem is that sooner or later the woman usually wants commitment, and usually the guy is so used to cohabitation that he says in his mind, ‘why should I get married when I have everything I want?’ I tell them if they can commit to a car for five years’ payment, if they can commit to a mortgage for 30 years’ payment, then they can also commit to a woman … until death so separates you,’” he said on the latest episode of “Alisa’s Culture Cocktail,” Alisa Bowens’ weekly culture and relationship roundup on WNHH.
