Get ready for the opening of the College Street Music Hall.
City officials said College Street will be closed to all vehicular traffic between Chapel and Georges Street on Wednesday, April 22 from 6 a.m. until 5 p.m. AND from 6 a.m. until 4 p.m. on Sunday, April 26, 2015 as work crews put the finishing touches on the College Street Music Hall, set to open on May 1 with a performance by The Machine, featuring the music of Pink Floyd.
Traffic will be detoured to Temple Street during these times.
The closures are scheduled to allow for structural steel installation and air handling cooling units to be lifted onto the roof of the College Street Music Hall ahead of its opening.
