LEAP, the youth academics and recreation agency, is preparing to start another season of swimming lessons. Following is a write-up it sent in:
LEAP is offering safe, fun and nurturing swim lessons to children between ages 5 and 13 at our pool at 31 Jefferson Street in New Haven. The lessons start March 23rd. Open slots are currently available on a first come first served basis.
Your child will become more confident, more physically fit and safer while in the water. Children of all ages, regardless of their current swimming skill level, will enjoy the lessons from our well trained instructors. Swimming lessons can prevent children from drowning, help build strong muscles and endurance, as well as develop your child’s self-confidence and sense of pride.
Swim lessons are forty-five minutes in length every Monday and Wednesday, or Tuesday and Thursday starting at 6 pm and 7 pm. The session costs $100 for 10 lessons. Children do not need to be a member of LEAP to take swim lessons.

If you miss the LEAP session don't forget there is one more session for Park and Rec Swim Lessons that begin on April 21st and run on Tuesday and Thursdays for six weeks (12 sessions) for $100.
