Cops Bust A Stolen-Goods Wal-Mart”

Cops set out to bust a believed illegal-drug operation Wednesday morning at a house in the Hill. They ended up uncovering a small warehouse of potentially tens of thousands of dollars’ worth of suspect stolen electronics, power tools, beer and other bulk items.”

So reported police spokesman Officer David Hartman, who offered these details:

Plainclothes officers knocked on the Lamberton Street door of a 43-year-old convicted murderer nicknamed Chill” around 10:30 a.m. They found $22,906 in cash and a hundred grams of powder and crack cocaine” inside.

Then detectives showed up to find all that stolen stuff.

It was as if he was operating his own Wal-Mart,” Hartman quoted Officer Tommy Glynn saying in a news release. There were everything from packaged flat screen TVs to laundry detergent.”

Other officers working on the case included Vincent Ovchar, Jenna Davis, and Mike Fumiatti.
