Elks To Honor Three Public Safety Standouts

Elks Lodge 25 will honor three men who put safety in New Haven first at its first Public Safety Night awards ceremony.

Sergeant Richard F. Miller (pictured far left) of the New Haven Police Department, Lieutenant James F. Seamus” Bohan (pictured center) of the New Haven Fire Department and Charles A. Cheslock Sr., (pictured below) Elks Lodge 25 Past Exalted Ruler and New Haven businessman will be honored at the lodge, 524 State Street, on Feb. 20.

The recipients were selected by the Elks public safety committee for their years of outstanding commitment to public and civic service in New Haven. A reception will be held at 5 p.m., followed by dinner at 6 p.m. and ceremony at 7 p.m.
