Georgia On His Mind

The first time former U.S. REp. Sam Gejdenson arrived in Georgia, sent as part of a National Democratic Institute delegation with John McCain and Strobe Talbott in 2002, the country struck him as having far more surprises than he had planned for.

Georgia is one of my favorite countries, and Tbilisi is one of my favorite citird,” he said on the latest episode of his eponymously named show on WNHH radio.

Beginning with the political career of Mikheil Saakashvili and ending with a discussion of Georgian wine, he and guest Tamta Otiashvili discussed the political, culinary, artistic and historic landscape of Georgia, which Gejdenson praised as one of his favorite countries. You can listen to the episode by clicking on the audio above or finding it in iTunes or on any podcast app under WNHH Community Radio.”
