U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder plans to drop by New Haven Tuesday for a major announcement about how cities fight violent crime.

Holder will join Connecticut U.S. Attorney David Fein and Gov. Dannel P. Malloy at an 11 a.m. press conference at Fein’s office at 157 Church St.

Officials will announce a “comprehensive initiative to reduce gun violence in Connecticut’s major cities,” according to a press release issued by Malloy’s office.

“Members of law enforcement, elected officials, social service providers, community leaders and academic researchers will also attend,” the release reads.

Don’t expect too much from Holder….last time, the plan was to provide guns to Mexican druglords - who promptly used them to kill Americans….and thus another coverup was needed.
