The City Clerk’s Office at 200 Orange St. is staying open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday for last-minute election help.
People expecting to be out of town or unable to get to the polls on Tuesday can come during those hours and vote by absentee ballot, said City Clerk Michael Smart.
Also staff will be available to asnwer questions about the two questions on the ballot as well as other election-related matters.

Good move. This is the kind of help people need to increase voter participation. It is responsible and affordable. It requires active participation of the voter, not a dumbing down of the requirements. This is much more preferable than a wholesale change to our state Constitution effectively putting it in the hands of the Democratic Party. Politicians have already desecrated "clean elections" and allowed the state party to launder donations in the back door while their candidates take taxpayer money out the front door.
To quote a Grove Street inscription, "The Dead Shall Be Raised"
