A 31-year-old man named Leverne Bellamy was fatally shot in Newhallville Wednesday night.
Cops found Bellamy in the rear of 36 Dorman St. at around 10 p.m., according to police spokesman Officer David Hartman. He was pronounced dead at the hospital.
Police are at the beginning of the investigation stage, processing the scene for evidence. They don’t have a suspect yet. They ask anyone with information to call (203) 946‑6304.
