Police and firefighters found a 36-year-old man lying dead in the road on Ella Grasso Boulevard near Goffe Street Monday night. He’d been shot.
The body of the victim, Nathaniel Bradley, was found around 9:20 p.m. Bradley lived in Hamden.
Firefighters responded to a medical distress call at the scene. Officer Michael Styles arrived on the scene soon afterwards, after someone nearby flagged him down, according to police spokesman Officer David Hartman. Police received no reports of gunfire in the area, Hartman said; as of Monday evening no witnesses had come forward.
Police asked anyone with information to call them at 203 – 946-6304 as they begin their investigation into the shooting.
