Firefighters found a man shot in the head on East Pearl St. in Fair Haven Friday night.
At 10:22 p.m. firefighter EMTs responded to East Pearl at Pierpont Street on a report of a unresponsive person lying on the ground, according to police spokesman Officer David Hartman. The EMTs found a man — later identified as Varnouard Hall, 33 — who had been shot in the head. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police had received no reports of gunshots anywhere in the city, Hartman said.
Detectives are investigating the incident. Police are asking anyone with information to call 203 – 946-6316.
Sad. Another human being that never got to live out his life. Another mother mourning and grieving over the loss of her own flesh and blood. Sad.
