SD530773.JPGBarb LeBlanc wrote this letter of appreciation after John Watts and his Phi Beta Sigma brothers dropped by for the School Supply Rally at Roberto Clemente Leadership Academey on Wednesday. The fraternity presented students with shiny new bookbags.

Dear Mr. Watts,

SD530787.JPGThe students, staff, and families of Roberto Clemente Leadership Academy would like to extend our heartfelt thanks for the gifts and motivation that we received yesterday from Phi Beta Sigma and its cooperating organizations.

Your visit got our school year off to a fun, enthusiastic start. Students spent the day proudly showing off the contents of their book bags. I know that it was a powerful experience for them to see that other adults in their community, not just parents and teachers, care about them and want them to succeed.

SD530796.JPGI hope that you and your fellow members will come back and visit us throughout the school year. Thank you again for helping us start the school year in such a positive way!

Sincerely yours,

Barb LeBlanc
