peru%204%20children.JPGA couple from a New Haven church that traveled to Peru found itself at the site of an earthquake — and at the call of a nation grappling with a massive human tragedy.

The couple is from Church on the Rock; it went to Peru to work with clergy there. Just last month the church sent a youth delegation to Peru for a week. (Click here to read about that.) The couple — Pastor Peter and Blanca Wollensack — sent these photos.

Peru%20--%20Peter%20Wollensack.JPG Peter Wollensack (pictured) from has been filing audio reports on his daily work amid the rubble and recovery. Click here, here and here to listen to his podcasts.

peru%203.JPGBack in New Haven the church is collecting donations to help with the effort. Anyone interest in helping should contact Pastor Todd Foster at this email address.
