Chris Randall Photo Hundreds of New Haveners gathered Saturday for the third and largest annual bike ride between New Haven’s iconic cliffs.

Since it started in 2009 with 200 riders, Rock To Rock has become an annual rite and a major green fundraiser. This year, 500 riders raised more than $50,000 for 14 environmental groups, according to organizers.

They won the team spirit award, and the top team fundraiser award for raising $6,444. Land Trust executive director Chris Randall won the highest individual fundraiser award for raising $2,608.
