Police are looking for a man they say robbed a bank in Westville Wednesday morning.

According to city spokeswoman Anna Mariotti, at 9:59 a.m., a man passed a note to teller at the First Niagara bank on Fountain Street then lifted up his shirt to reveal a black handgun. He fled with an undetermined amount of cash.

Police released three photos of the suspect, who is described as a white male, ​“25 to 35 years old, 6’2”, medium build, short brown hair, slight goatee, wearing a gray zip-up hooded sweatshirt, dark jeans, and white sneakers.”

Police are asking people with information on the robbery to call the Investigative Services Unit at 203 – 946-6304.
