We’re looking for more insight into your CT Transit commutes. And we’re looking to try something different.
We want to put together a package that will showcase those moments we can’t be around for, as part of our ongoing series of local bus service. To help, you can send us a photo or a video highlighting a portion of your commute.
We’re keeping this open-ended: Pick something that represents your commute, or just take a couple minutes of video during your trip. Show us your bus stop, or your riding friends, or your concerns.
We’ll work to put it together into one or more projects.
To be included, we’ll need some details from you.
Tell us:
- your full name so we can identify your work
- what bus you ride
- what town you commute from and to
- the time you took the photo/video
- where we can contact you if we have follow up information

The CT Bus Diaries project is a collaboration between the New Haven Independent, the Valley Independent Sentinel and students from the multimedia journalism class at Southern Connecticut State University. The students are blogging about experiences on CT Transit’s bus lines in order to give a glimpse into the commutes of the people using the bus system.
