Contributed Photo Judy Thompson of St. Aedan-St. Brendan School sent in this photo and write-up:

Dan Garitta, history teacher and student council adviser from St. Aedan-St. Brendan School, and his student council conducted a Thanksgiving food
drive. Within days they had collected 523 non-perishable food items. At the culmination of the drive, 963 non-perishable food items were collected.

The student council members along with the 8th grade student body collected and boxed the food, which was donated and picked up on Wednesday by Christian Community Action.

Congratulations to our students and families from St. Aedan-St. Brendan for their donations; we are proud that we have helped families in need in our community.
