Temple Grill, Delaney’s Cited For Serving Minors

Two minors hit nine separate New Haven bars in one night. At seven of the bars they were refused service. They scored at two others.

The minors weren’t really looking to get drunk. They had volunteered to help the cops and the state Department of Liquor Control on a sting of city nightclubs.

The sting took place this past Saturday night. Liquor Control has since cited the two offenders — Temple Grill, at 152 Temple; and Delaney’s in Westville Village — for serving alcohol to the minors. They are to answer to the charges at an upcoming meeting of the state Liquor Control Commission.
