Skyping into Minneapolis, host Tagan Engel talks Brian Yazzie, chef de cuisine at The Sioux Chef, a new food initiative in Minnesota that seeks to revitalize indigenous foods systems in a modern culinary context. Most recently, Yazzie worked with The Sioux Chef to start a food truck and cook for the water protectors at Standing Rock in North Dakota, and they talk about what that has entailed.
