These students demonstrate that many of our students are smart, articulate and ready to be challenged. They also demonstrate that students prefer to be challenged than to be spoon fed with old information that do not broaden their base of knowledge. It was delightful to see how excited they were when they talked about experiences that were enlightening and informative for them.
OneWorld Progressive Institute, Inc has been engaging students in television forums and in critical-thinking activities since 1996. Even students who are not performing well in school respond positively when they are challenged in ways that are exciting and constructive. We are delighted to be able to engage students in these activities and we appeal to schools to be cooperative in helping us to get access to more students. Mama, Wendy and Colby were delightful to work with. We invite students to join us for our Women's History Month programs on March 15 and March 29.
