Yale Union Dues Rise

Yeah and buying elections is expensive.

And let's be clear. We voted to raise our dues so that the Organizing staff can be strengthened to be better able to represent the Local 34 Yale workers HERE ... not to fund their organizing activities around the country. We expect that the increase in dues will increase the service that we Local 34 workers receive HERE not for political lobbying. There are many Local 34 members who are losing their jobs or their job security HERE because parts of our hard fought contract are just being ignored by Yale administrators and we need for the union to support us in securing our jobs HERE. That is why we voted for an increase.

Company limits bathroom breaks to 6 minutes a day

Spend more than 6 minutes a day in the bathroom at Chicago's WaterSaver Faucet company and you'll face disciplinary measures.
That's what a union contends the manufacturer is pulling: timing bathroom breaks and warning employees when they can't beat the clock. The union, Teamsters local 743, filed a complaint with the National Labor Relations Board claiming WaterSaver unfairly disciplined 19 workers in June for "excessive use" of washrooms.

My bad I forgot.It was union dues that help fight to get these benfits,That also non union workers also benfit from.
