For starters, attend an exciting new show in the Stony Creek Quarry, help out at a Blood Drive, or take in the dynamic annual Fireworks Display with family and friends. (Branford celebrates July 4th a little earlier than most towns.)

Branford Graduation
The Branford High School Class of 2014 graduates tomorrow at 6:00 p.m. The ceremony will be held on the town green.
Terra Tractus: The Earth Moves
Project 2k’s most recent project “Terra Tractus” opens Friday at the Stony Creek Quarry. This performance will kick off eight shows in the next few weeks. The show starts at 8:30 p.m. and parking and shuttle service will be available from Walsh Intermediate School starting at 6:15 p.m. Tickets are $45 the day of the show. Project 2k will also perform on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights, starting at dusk.
Saturday, June 21
Vintage Car Display
Vintage car display at Branford Ford gets underway at 10:00 a.m. and runs, so to speak, until 3:00 p.m. Proceeds benefit the Branford Food Bank. Branford Ford is located at 301 East Main St., off exit 55 on I‑95. Goodie bags distributed to the first 100 people. Rain date is Sunday, June 22.
Rita’s Blood Drive
Come celebrate the official first day of summer with the annual Blood Drive hosted by Rita’s Italian Ice, which is located at 269 East Main St. The event kicks off at 11:00 a.m. Those who donate will receive a coupon for a Free Regular Ice.
Library Movie Showing
The Blackstone Memorial Library is hosting a viewing of the film Honey I Shrunk the Kids from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Library invites everyone to come and bring snacks.
Annual Branford Fireworks Display
On Saturday night, the town of Branford will kick off summer with a firework display from Branford Point on Harbor Street. The fireworks will start at 9:00 p.m., accompanied by live music and food vendors’ onsite. The rain date is Sunday, June 22.
