Kids Have a Ball at Branford Festival

Much of what the public sees at the Branford Festival is out front: the road race, the hundreds of vendors on the town Green, the performers on stage, the happy audience.

Then there’s backstage, so to speak, where the kids can be found. Before the 2016 Branford festival fades from view, we thought we share these backstage photographs by Mary Johnson, our photographer.

The slides were a big hit.

Or apart.

Sometimes looking down reveals a surprise.

Next big event? Ed Lazarus, the president of the Shoreline Chamber of Commerce joins the League of Women Voters at their booth. Getting out the vote on Nov. 8 is on their mind.
