Branford Police are attempting to identify a man who inappropriately touched a 13-year-old boy, while the boy was fishing at the Supply Ponds off North Chestnut Street on Sunday, June 14, at approximately 4 p.m.
The suspect is described as between 35 and 50 years old, a white male, between 5 feet 6 inches and 6 feet tall. The teenager said he was heavy, had red hair, brown eyes and freckles on his face, forehead and arms. He was wearing a black T‑shirt with white writing and wore grey shorts. He was last seen walking into the woods on the nature trail.
Officer David Atkinson and Detective Arthur Ferris are investigating the incident. Anyone with information should call police at 203 – 481-4241.
