Spring Sports Bring Honors For Hornets

This past weekend the high school sports season came to a close.

Softball had L-R seniors Cynthia Lerman and Nicole Carrano

Although a number of Branford teams made it to the post season in either the Southern Connecticut Conference or state playoffs there were no titles.

However, the effort on the part of a number of athletes resulted in their being selected as All Conference” by the league’s coaches.

Alyssa Case won the pole vault and earned all conference for Outdoor Track.

Players on seven different Branford teams earned this recognition.

Boys’ Lacrosse selected the trio of L-R senior Michael Caminear, Junior Noah DeGoursey and senior Noah Lohman. #105

Those chosen were players from both the boys’ and girls’ lacrosse teams, boys’ tennis, boys’ and girls’ track and boys’ baseball and girls’ softball.
