Alfred A. Howard, 85 of New Haven passed away June 5, 2010. Son of the late Alfred A. Howard and Clara Moore, Alfred was born in Kingston, Jamaica on April 19, 1925. Alfred was a member of the I.B.P.O.E. of W. East Rock Lodge #141 for over 40 years. He leaves to cherish his memory; sons, Eddie, Paul, Ken, Clyde, Trevor Howard; daughters, Debbie, Ava-Marie Howard (Simmons), Paulette Anderson, Melissa Howard and Shanea Hylton; brothers, Oswald, Kebble, Neville Howard; sisters, Lillian May, Edalyn, Eda, Una Howard and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, friends and other relatives. He was predeceased by 3 brothers and 2 sisters. A celebration of his life will take place Friday, June 11, 2010 at 11 AM at Bethel AME Church, 255 Goffe Street New Haven, CT.
