Arthur J. Edwards Jr. 67 of New Haven, CT passed away on Monday, November 14, 2011.
Born to the late Arthur Sr. and Lucille Edwards on January 10, 1944 in Hawkinsville, GA. Arthur was a big fan of boxing, reading, music and a great conversationalist. He was a Vietnam Veteran serving his country in the United States Army and received his Associates Degree from South Central Community College. He leaves to cherish his memory; sons, Martin and Miles James, Anthony Moye and Arthur J. Edwards III all of New Haven, CT; daughters, Michelle Moye, Dawn Edwards, Dana Rawls, Kimberly Edwards and Regina Moye-Bynum all of New Haven, CT; brothers, Freddie, Willie, and Wayne Edwards all of GA; former husband of Alfreda Edwards of New Haven, CT; 23 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren and a host of family and friends. Arthur was predeceased by sister Barbara Clemons. A celebration of his life with military honors will take place on Saturday, November 19, 2011 at 9AM at Kingdom Love Center Ministry, 19 George Street, Hamden, CT with a calling hour at the church from 8 – 9AM.
