Austin E. Lewis Jr., of New Haven, CT, passed away on November 28, 2010 at the age of 69. Born to the late Austin Lewis Sr. and Effye Webb-Harris in New Haven, CT on June 11, 1941. He had a love of riding motor cycles, barbering, and traveling. He is survived by his loving wife of over 50 years, Annie Lewis; son, Jarmein S. Lewis of New Haven; brother, Vincent (Sonia) E. Lewis of Pleasantville, SC; sister, Carole (Maud) Green-Alexander of Cheshire, CT; daughter-in-law, Lila Lewis of New Haven. Besides his parents, Austin was predeceased by 2 sons and one daughter. A celebration of his life will take place on Saturday December 4, 2010 10AM at Friendship Baptist Church, 26 Edwards Street, Hamden, CT 06517.
