Barbara Evon Roberson, 73 of New Haven, CT passed away on Wednesday August 24, 2011.
Born to the late Junius E. McKeithen Sr. and Adelle Miller in Stamford, CT on October 6, 1937. She was a graduate of Stamford High School. She worked at Child World of Hamden, CT and at Fleet Bank of New Haven CT as an Assistant Manager. She is survived by her sons: Will W. Roberson Jr. of Italy and Edward D. Roberson of MD; brothers, Alvin McKeithen of Stamford, CT, David Starr of CT and Bruce A. McKeithen of CA; sisters, Sandra L. Barrett of Bethany, CT and Carol J. Wilson, of Waterbury, CT; 1 grandchild, Sydni Smith, an aunt, Margaret M. Purdue and God daughter, Deena E. Wilson and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends. She is predeceased by her brother Junius D. McKeithen Jr of Bridgeport, CT. A celebration of her life will take place on Tuesday, August 30, 2011 at 11AM at Howard K. Hill Funeral Services, 1287 Chapel Street, New Haven, CT 06511 with calling hours from 10 – 11AM. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
