Barbara Rush, 75, of New Haven, CT, departed this life on December 25, 2012. She was born June 14, 1937, to the late William Lockman Sr and Helen Marie Johnson, in Philadelphia, PA. She was a beautician for many years and was employed for Yale University until her retirement. Barbara is survived by 1 Son Robert Manick, 3 Daughters Randora Chisolm, Djuana Manick and Barbara Wiggins, of New Haven a daughter-in-law Joan Lockman of Hinesville, GA, 7 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by a son John Lockman, two brothers, William and Clarence Lockman.
A ceremony of celebration of her life will be held on Wednesday, February 13, 2013 at 2:00PM at McClam Funeral Home, 95 Dixwell Ave, New Haven, CT. Calling hours from 1:00PM until time of service.
