Betty Davis, 66, of New Haven; born October 22, 1948 in Hemingway, SC to the late James and Mary Davis passed away October 17, 2015 in New Haven.
Betty had worked at Yale University as a Supervisor of Custodial Services. She enjoyed visits to the casino, shopping and eating out.
She leaves to cherish her memory; sons Charles (Karen) Eaddy of North Carolina and Dewayne Eaddy of New Haven; brother James (Cynthia) Davis of South Carolina; sisters Valerie (Warren) Rogers of SC, Mary Davis Smith of GA, Brinia Davis of CT and Bernice (Carroll) Cooper of SC; 3 grandchildren and a host of family and friends. Along with her parents, Betty was predeceased by her beloved granddaughter Kayla. A Celebration of her life will take place on Friday, October 23 at 12 AM at St Matthews Unison Free Will Baptist Church; 388 Dixwell Ave., New Haven, CT 06511 with visitation at the church on Friday from 11 – 12 PM.
