Bryant Coleman, 50

Bryant Coleman, 50, husband of Valeska Coleman, of New Haven, entered eternal rest on Saturday, June 18, 2016.

He was born on November 14, 1965 to Gail Coleman Fowler and the late Calvin Cox. He was self-employed as a contractor and was a dedicated member of St. Paul’s Union American Methodist Episcopal Church. 
Bryant leaves to cherish his memory, mother, Gail (Leonard) Fowler; grandfather, John Cox; wife, Valeska Coleman; sons, Garrett Hood, Nathaniel (Jenna) Hardy, Gabriel Hardy, and Isaiah Hardy, all of New Jersey; brothers, Albert Lee of New Haven and Evan Cox of MA; sisters, Wynnett Stewart, Elena Brito both of New Haven and Larysa Cox of VT; godson, Cody Sterling of Windsor Locks; one granddaughter, Sanai Hood; and a host of relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his grandmother, Lucy Cox.
A celebration of life will take place Thursday, June 23, 2016 at 11:00 AM at St. Paul’s Union American Methodist Episcopal Church, 150 Dwight St, New Haven, CT 06511 with a calling hour from 10:00 – 11:00 AM. Interment is private. Services by Howard K.
