Burnetta Golding, 68

Burnetta Brenda, Brin, Aunt Jenny” A. Golding, 68, of New Haven, CT, departed this life October 15, 2013.

She was the wife of Henry E. Golding.
Born in St. Catherine, Jamaica, December 31, 1944, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Roslyn Francis Johnson.
Prior to retiring, she was employed as a Registered Nurse at the Hospital of St. Raphael.
Mrs. Golding was a member of Mt. Zion Seventh-Day Adventist Church.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by four grandchildren, Dashawn, Jasmin, Dante and Craigrianna Golding; brothers, Stanley, Noel, Leonard, Derrick, Norman and Kenneth Johnson; sisters, Viola Tulloch, Catherine Johnson-Jackson, Leonora Lowe, Louise Johnson and Vinnette Johnson-Clarke; a daughter in-law, Dorothy Golding; and a host of other relatives and friends.
She was predeceased by her son, Craig Anthony Golding and a sister, Doris Johnson.
A celebration of Mrs. Golding’s life and legacy will be held Thursday, October 24, 2013, at 11:00 A.M. at Mt. Zion Seventh-Day Adventist Church, 64 Marlboro St., Hamden, CT. Viewing and visitation will be held at the church from 10:00 – 11:00 A.M. Burial will be in Hamden Plains Cemetery. Professional services entrusted to Curvin K.
